GRADING KEY FOR THE RECORDS

M (Mint) Means the record must be in perfect condition
M- (Near Mint) Almost mint , may have a minor blemish such as a very light hairline scuff. Labels will be clean with no tears or damage. Vinyl must show full gloss. Plays with no surface noise.
VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus)- Very clean full gloss vinyl with minor scuffs. Plays with no surface noise. Labels will be clean with no damage. This grade is usually acceptable to all but the most Mint condition conscious collectors.
VG+ (Very Good Plus) Vinyl retains most if not all of original gloss. Scuffs and obvious signs of play are evident , but nothing overwhelming. Still considered a "clean" copy. No label tears or damage and very minimal if any surface noise.
VG (Very Good) The halfway mark between good and near mint. This is your average condition used record. The vinyl may show some, but not all gloss. Scuffs and improper care of the record are evident. Surface noise will be minimal and not detract from the overall sound. The label may show some wear, but still be minimal, & no major damage.
VG- (Very Good Minus) Well played record with little gloss and many scuffs. Shows obvious signs of heavy play and improper care. Has some surface noise but not overwhelming. No deep scratches, may have label defects, which will be noted.
G+ (Good Plus) Heavy vinyl wear, well played, heavily scuffed, but still no deep scratches. Label usually has defects which will be noted. Still plays "good" enough to enjoy.
G (Good) Heavily played record with no gloss and obvious surface noise. Just a filler copy to fill a gap in the collection.

GRADING KEY FOR THE COVERS AND PICTURE SLEEVES

M (Mint) Cover or sleeve is new with no visible wear. Sharp corners and clear artwork.
M- (Near Mint) Sharp corners and barely noticeable wear. No seam splits . May exhibit very minor bending or creasing. Other miniscule defects may be present but nothing distracting.
VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus) Cover or sleeve shows very minor wear but no serious defects. Some light "ring" wear or friction may be seen. Staining or discoloration will not be present.
VG+ (Very Good Plus) Will show ring wear but nothing major. Some moderate wear will be noticeable on the artwork , but no serious problems. There will be no major fraying of the corners. May have minor staining and "bb" or pin holes. May show minor creases and bending.
VG (Very Good) Heavy "ring" wear and scuffing may be present. May exhibit serious wrinkling and creasing. Corners may be frayed and not sharp. There may be writing , non major tears, stains, etc. Splits are noted.
VG- (Very Good Minus) Cover or Pic shows heavy wear. Corners may be frayed and tattered. Serious "ring" wear and scuffing may be present. Writing, discoloring and staining evident but not defaced. Splits are noted.
G+ (Good Plus) Cover or Pic shows very heavy wear. Corners frayed and tattered. Obvious major splits and stains or writing on the cover or pic. Obviously not a cared for item
